Kim Deal quit the Pixies earlier this year, and soon, the band replaced her with Kim Shattuck of the Muffs. Shattuck was fired in November over the phone. (The band’s new bassist is Paz Lenchantin of A Perfect Circle, Zwan, and Entrance Band.) Now, Frank Black has discussed the fan reaction to Shattuck’s firing with Yahoo Music.
