Insominium

Insomnium is a Finnish metal band that formed in 1996. They have released 11 albums over their 20-year career, with the most recent album being released in 2017.

In 1997, Insomnium released their first and self-titled album known as “Insomnium”. The album was well received and the band became known throughout Finland. This album focused on melodic death metal and had a dark, atmospheric tone to it.

In 2001, they released their second album titled “Crimson” which was also well received. This album had more prog rock than the previous one and had a generally lighter tone to it.

Their third studio album “Since the Day It All Came Down” came out in 2003 and was also a critical success for the band.
