The Agonist is a Canadian metal band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2004. They currently have 4 members: guitarists Danny Marino and Pascal (Paco) Jobin, bassist Chris Kells, drummer Simon Mckay and vocalist Vicky Psarakis, who joined the band in March 2014 following vocalist, founding member Alissa White-Gluz’s departure
Both Psarakis and White-Gluz use harsh and clean vocals. Originally known as Tempest, this band changed their name after they signed to Century Media in 2007.
The Agonist have 6 studio albums so far, with their latest being released in September.
Thanks to their energetic performances, they have toured extensively since their first album, sharing the stage with bands like Arsonists Get All the Girls, Epica, the Faceless, Chelsea Grin, Kamelot and Visions of Atlantis.
