The Pretty Reckless is an American rock band from New York City formed in 2008. The group consists of Taylor Momsen (lead vocals), Ben Phillips (guitar), Mark Damon (bass), and Jamie Perkins (drums).
The Pretty Reckless’s debut album, Light Me Up, was released in 2009. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart and was certified gold. The album produced four singles with “Make Me Wanna Die” reaching number six on the US Alternative Songs chart and “My Medicine” reaching number three on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
